The Watson brothers have different ways of solving conflict. Kenny is timid and allows himself to get bullied, for example by Larry. On the other hand, Byron is confrontational and doesn’t get bullied, he bullies others (but he stays in trouble ). Which do you think is better? Why? 

In the first chapter or so we get to know Byron, Kenny and Joetta and the rest of the Weird Watsons. We also learn about why Bryon is labeled a “juvenile delinquent.” He doesn’t make the best choices in his actions, his words or his friends. If you were Kenny, how would you feel about your brother’s behavior? What would it mean to him and Joetta to have someone like Byron as your big brother?
